Happy Birthday!!!

A few weeks ago I went to a Make and Take at the Art Room in Franklin NC.  This is the style card they were doing. I just love the little windows.  It is simple and quick and can be used for many occasions. I have made several in a variety of colors. Some have birthdays, some thinking of you, and thank you.  You take a wood grained stamp and use Tim Holtz ink- I used walnut, lightly stamp in on the die cut card.  Pick out some cute paper in put in the window.  Take one of the squares, sponge it in the Tim Holtz ink, punch a couple of wholes, ties some ribbon and pop dot it on the front.
Add your sentiment at the bottom!

Happy Mother's Day!!!!

Over the past 2 or 3 weeks I have been making Mother's Day Cards. I want to share these various colors I made from this one stamp! I just love how they all came together, ink, paper, coloring-perfect matches.  The flowers are from A Muse Studio, the sentiment is from Stampin Up.  I also did pink and yellows but didn't snap any pics.  The red one is Marvy Ink, Copics, and I used The Paper Cut Cardstock.  All 3 are stamped on A Muse White (Sugar) Cardstock.  This cardstock is amazing in how well it takes ink and colors.  It is one of the best I have ever used!

HAPPY EASTER!!!!

Easter is here, but it doesn't mean that Spring and Sprung! We have had frost several days this week, but hopefully will have warmer weather soon.

I have made a few cards for Easter and Graduation this past couple of weeks and I want to share them with you.  The bunnies are all little different, but I love the pompom tails. Colored with copics, paper from stash-most is from Marco's and The Paper Company.  The punch bunnies were done with nestie's dies and 1/4 round circle from Stampin Up. The embossing folder is Tim Holtz's, then I used a little momento ink on top of the raised areas.

The graduation hat is a square punch, used the score board to score around the edges, brad in center, made the tassel from DMC floss. Finally a use for all of that floss from my cross stitching days.
Used pop dots to raise it off the page, the background paper (congrats) is from Michaels.

New A Muse Stamps and Dies Are in the House!

These flowers are from the Friend to Friend A Muse Set.  I stamped it in VersaMark ink and then embossed it using clear powder. Added some skaura pen for glitter. The “Hello” is made using the new word dies in the Spring Supplement. Love those word dies!

Happy Birthday!

I used another word die from A Muse here! I love these word dies- check out the Spring Supplement from A Muse-if you would like to order-please contact me. They have been very popular!

The keys, yep, you guessed it from an old laptop computer that was being thrown away. I love the look of scrabble tiles, so I thought about trying computer keys!

Cards for Boys!

I found these really cute Mylar stickers (3-D) and have made a few cards with them. I wanted to share a few with you as they have been really popular especially for boys.  The greetings from a couple of the A Muse stamp sets are perfect captions for these.  I love it when things come together!
I used the A Muse Stamp Sets "Love Machines" and "Greetings Earthling".
These sets have some really cute stamps and greetings! So check them out too!

I received this cute stamp set and dies from the Stamps of Life a few weeks ago.
I made this cute birthday card that has a spinner arrow on it. It really works!

It's Shamrocks in March Time!!

I made a few cards for March Birthdays and also a few cards for Saint Patrick's Day which is March 17.  March 17 just happens to be my birthday also.  I found some various Shamrocks in the dollar bins at Michael's and AC Moore's that I thought were pretty cute. Also while at AC Moore's I found some March paper with shamrocks and some adorable shamrock ribbon. I had a few embellishments in my stash and use some various green memento inks, copics, and some great green cardstock from The Paper Company. Also, at ACM's they had these terrific embossing folders made by Darcie and so I got the Shamrock one...just could not resist.

So here are a few of the green Shamrock cards I made.  See what ya think......
