Cute Easter Cards!

I have been busy the last couple of weeks, we took a short trip to Florida for sunshine and rest.  I found these 2 cute stamps at Hobby Lobby in Panama City. I really love the bunny with the carrot. I think I will have to make some other cards besides Easter with him. Who doesn't love a cute bunny.  The other stamp could be used for other cards to I think but I will have to get creative.

Both stamps are made by Stampabilities.  It is so fun to color and easy to stamp.

See what ya think!!!!

Gnomes!

I like gnomes and this set of stamps from A Muse Studio is adorable.  I use A Muse dies for the grass and paper from my stash.  I colored it with Copic markers.  Popped up the butterfly (sticker) and the plant.  The cloud dies are from another company too. I think it turned out pretty cute!

HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY!!!

Are you wearing your green- Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!! Also, it is my birthday, so Happy Birthday to me! It is a new decade for me, but I am not telling you which one!!!

I always enjoy making Saint Patty's Day cards, here are a few from this year's creations.  I used some of the dies and stamps from A Muse Studio but also added some embellishments and used a shamrock stamp from the dollar bin at one of the craft stores.

Cleaning and Organizing

So over the last two weeks I have been cleaning and purging in my stamping room.  I still have not completed the chore but I have thrown out stuff! Amazing how much I have collected. So I have not stamped  a lot the last three weeks. I made quite a few Saint Patty's Day Cards but in the rush to get them to the store, I did not take pictures. I have a couple here and I will post those Thursday or Friday.

Here are some gnome cards and thank you cards I have made. The "thank you" cards I used a very old Stampin Up set but I still like it.  I had these perfect papers in my stash.
The gnome (man) card is a stamp from Class Act.  It is fun to color and the gnome (boy) is from Dragonfly Laser.  It is ok but not my favorite.  I have some more gnomes I am working on that I will post a bit later from the A Muse Studio.  I made some of these last year also and they were a big hit.

February 20, 2017

A few cards from the weekend.  Last week I ordered this embossing folder from Tim Holtz Collection.  It is the perfect  background for a couple of  A Muse Stamp Sets and Dies that I have which are Mocca Me Happy and Perk Up.  The Birthday Girl is also an A Muse Stamp Set.

The woodchuck is an Endless Creation Stamp and the other card is made with a Verses "Thank You" and a Unity Butterfly stamp.

Cards

Over the last couple of weeks, I have made many different cards! I have been working on building up my stash for the busy summer season of the local Glorious Farmer's Market.  On Saturdays, from 9-12, April- October we are set up outside in Sylva.

In March, we will still be on the inside at the Community Table from 10-1.  Please stop by and see what we have. I have cards for all occasions, all made by me.

Here are three cards that are available.  See what ya think.....

The "Merci" card is made with a stamp that came in a pack of 4 from AC Moore several years ago. I love this little bird.  It makes a clean and simple card.  The blue yellow color combo is perfect for this little birdie.  The yellow paper is from my stash and the blue is from Gina K blueberry.

This card is made with an image from my box of stamped images just waiting to be colored. I colored this one with Prisma coloring pencils and gamsol.  I do not remember who makes the stamp. I used blue card stock from The Paper Cut. Enamel dots are from my stash.

This card is made with a stamp from Stampin Up.  It is a set of 6 for various occasions.  I have made this card in several colors but the yellow is one of my favorites.
The ribbon is from my stash but came from Walmart several years ago.

Side Step-Up Cards

I have been making many cards over the last couple of weeks, too many to actually publish on my blog.  Here are two that I think are cute, they take a little extra time but Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard from The Stamps of Life have these cute dies that make it easier-a lot of bang for the buck!
This style could be changed up for almost any occasion.

Also this week I made some of these little treats. I used A Muse dies, stamps and papers for these.  They are cute and are available the Farmer's Market this Saturday, Feb 11, 2017.  These treats are always a big hit.

Cards, Cards and More Cards...

I have been working on cards for the last few days.  Last Saturday I was at the Heirloom Rubber Stamp Convention in Lawrenceville Ga.  Endless Creations (one of my favorite vendors from Wisconsin) was there and I bought some new stamps-the Owl which is in today's post.  I already had the raccoon and I had not used him for a few months.
Here are some cards with those two stamps....more to come of other new stamps....

Tealight Valentine's Cards

I made these Valentine's Day Tea light Cards with A Muse paper and heart dies and stamps.

I cut the paper 4.25 X 11, scoring at 4,6,and 8.  Then I cut a designer/printed cardstock at 4 X 3.75 and then die cut the hearts in both the cardstock and top layer of paper at once.  Then I added velum in between the two pieces with adhesive.  Then I added the scalloped heart around the outside of the heart.  This piece was made by die cutting the hearts, first the scalloped then add the smaller heart inside the scalloped heart and die cut again.  Embellish and stamped a strip of cardstock at the bottom too hold the card in place with the tea light.

The other cards are made with Darcie's hearts embossing folder, dies from A Muse and stamps also are A Muse except for the Be Mine (Stampin Up 2002).

These were fun to make and are available at the Local Farmers Market for purchase.  Also, you can email me if you would like to purchase any of the cards below.

My First Quilling Project

Last week I tried quilling for the first time.  Clearly I need to practice but I didn't think these hearts and arrow were to bad for a newby.  I will keep practicing and hope to soon do some flowers and more cards! Some people do such intricate projects that are awesome. I will stick with simple for now.
